At Green Gables Montessori, we want to ensure that not only is our environment a good fit for your child but if your child will be able to do well in our setting. Children in our environment need to be able to be independent, cooperate, and respect the rights and needs of others. We do not expect each and every child to be fully independent, cooperative, or respectful at all times, but to at least have the foundation to build upon for them to further develop their potential.
After an initial tour of our school, to see if your child will be a good fit, we ask that your child(ren) stay with us for a minimum of two hours on a date agreed upon by both parties. We will then have them in our classroom during school hours, to see how they will interact in our open environment and with our students and staff. During these two hours, we will observe the following:

* Are they able to listen to and follow directions?
*. Will they be respectful of our environment and of others?
* Are they able to be independent (within age appropriate reasonability)?

If we find that your child(ren) has the traits we are looking for, we will invite them to join our school for a thirty-day trial period.

Families interested in setting up an appointment to tour the school may do so by contacting us. Tours are scheduled for 4:30pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
